Strange but true isn't it? Yes you can actually make money, potentially lots of money writing on the web. What you'll need is a full-proof successful blue-print, patience determination and a little time.
Sounds like much? Well at least you should have is a time-money buffer to work with to allow yourself learning time, a return for your investment and momentum to build upon.
So what do you need to know? What is the one thing that people look for when they go on the internet? What is the one thing that people are willing to pay for to get it? Information!
Making money on the internet means you are in the information market. People will pay good money for quality valuable organised information and fortunately for all of us the internet has made the tranferring of information very easy.
But first you must understand the concept. What sort of information are people willing to pay for and how exaclty is this information delivered to them?
So what information sells? Well, anything that adds value or improves or develops someones life will always be percieved as valuable and there you have potential to make money off it. Let me give you some specific examples;
- how to lose weight fast
- how to get a six pack and build muscle
- how to make money with property and real estate
- how to build you own computer
- how to make money on the internet
You get the idea? People who are actively searching for a solution are willing to pay good money if they know it will solve a problem.
Ok, so the next point.. how do we deliver this information to them and make money for ourselves? One word. eBooks!
What is an eBook and how does it make us money? eBooks usually come in PDF format, sometimes in EXE format too. So let's say you write an simple step-by-step guide on how to make money on the internet. You would type it out in a word processor, add a few pictures if you wanted and convert it to a PDF eBook!
That's it right? Well no not exaclty. So you've found a problem that people are willing to pay for and you're created a little PDF eBook that they need. What about everything in-between? :)
What's in-between?
- creating a website with a sales page for your make money eBook
- marketing your make money eBook to let everyone know about it
- where to sell your make money eBook
- accepting money through a payment processor like PayPal
- creating your eBook cover - yes this is very important!
Sound's like a lot work right? Yes and no. The upfront work can be a hassle if you don't know what you're doing but the payoff is tremendous and permanent.
Can this really work? Answer yes! Let me prove it to you.
"Auction Stealer" is one of my little PDF eBooks which I created recently and I'm currently selling on eBay for a few dollars. It makes me money day in day out and will continue to do so because the sales page intrigues people and other resellers are happy to make money from it.
A few dollars for an eBook? That can't be enough to make a living? Yes you're right. That's why you must do it be the numbers. More eBooks and more eBay accounts specifically designed for different customers!
With a little time and practice you can start pumping out more expensive eBooks and not granting resell rights to it to stop others from selling it and placing them in one of your niche-specific accounts.

It's a great way to start making money with very little risk and I do recommend for any beginner. I've created many more eBooks before so giving one away will not hurt me ;)
Now you may be thinking surely there's more to it? Yes you're right. Here are a few of the many things you have to note:
- Work by the numbers. The more unique in-demand products you have to sell the more profit for you.
- You can only sell products which you are licensed to sell i.e. products which have resell rights and master resell rights.
- Other eBayer's will not buy your products at 'mainstream' prices from you if your feedback is low. Therefore you have to build it up.
- Everytime you list an item for sale on eBay you are charged a small fee for listing. Your listing fees can vary significantly depending on how agressively you want to promote your item.
- Selling your product without a gallery image will be more profitable but you will receive less visitors because it will be harder for people to find.
- If there is a lot of competition with others selling similar products don't waste time and list your item for the full 7 days. It has been proven time and time that items sell towards the end of their listing and people generally have a fear of mis-opportunity when they see an auction ending.
- eBay charges a final selling fee too!
- PayPal (also owned by eBay) will also charge you for the receiving transaction! How greedy! :)
